The Mission

The Workhorse 1,000

Our mission is to help 1,000 veteran-owned businesses build the digital visibility required to compete, grow, and create opportunities of their own.

Veteran Businesses Helped

Data Coming Soonof 1,000

This counter is a placeholder. It will display verified mission progress once reporting is connected.

The Mission

A cumulative, long-term commitment

The Workhorse 1,000 does not mean serving 1,000 veteran companies at the same time. It is counted over the life of the company.

A veteran-owned business counts toward the mission after Workhorse provides and launches a meaningful completed service, such as a website and visibility system that is live and running.

We measure the mission by businesses launched and helped — not names collected.

What does not count

  • Email subscribers
  • Webinar attendees
  • Guide downloads
  • Unqualified leads
  • Businesses that never launch

Why 1,000

Intentionally ambitious

A number small enough to be real work and large enough to matter.

  • Give veteran entrepreneurs stronger digital infrastructure
  • Help businesses compete locally
  • Support job creation
  • Encourage veterans to build durable companies
  • Create a national network of veteran-owned success stories
  • Provide a clear long-term purpose for Workhorse

Visibility is one part of a business, not the whole of it. Workhorse builds and maintains the digital side; the owner still runs the company.

How It Works

Four steps from application to launch

  1. 1

    Apply

A veteran-owned business applies through the mission application.

  2. 2

    Verify

Workhorse verifies eligibility and confirms the business is a good fit for the system.

  3. 3

    Select a package

The business selects the mission-priced package that matches how it operates.

  4. 4

    Build and launch

Workhorse builds and launches the website and visibility system, then keeps it running.

Workhorse may limit new enrollments based on capacity, service fit, and the ability to fulfill the work properly. We would rather delay an onboarding than take on work we cannot execute well.

Mission Pricing

What participating businesses pay

The veteran rate exists to make ongoing professional marketing infrastructure more accessible without turning the program into an unsustainable free service. Sustainable pricing is what lets the mission continue past the first hundred businesses.

Help Carry the Mission

Civilian Mission Partners

Work with Workhorse at standard pricing when capacity allows and help strengthen the company supporting the mission.

Organizations and Media

Veteran organizations, podcast hosts, media outlets, chambers, business groups, and community partners are welcome to share or support the mission.

Team

Building a Team Around the Mission

As Workhorse grows, the company intends to create opportunities for veterans and mission-aligned professionals.

  • Veteran customer success roles
  • Veteran outreach and partnership roles
  • Veteran sales and leadership opportunities
  • Distributed operations and production support
  • Technology and automation used to keep services affordable and scalable

Workhorse does not hire veterans exclusively and does not use United States-based workers exclusively. The intent is a capable team with real opportunity for veterans in it.

Transparency

How progress will be reported

Workhorse intends to track and publicly report meaningful mission progress as the numbers become real.

  • Number of veteran-owned businesses launched
  • General industries served
  • Broad geographic reach
  • Selected success stories shared with permission
  • Mission milestones

Private client data, revenue figures, personal military records, and confidential business information will not be published.
