Accessibility Statement

What this site does to stay usable for everyone, what we have not yet verified, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Last updated: August 7, 2026

1. Our intention

Workhorse builds websites for people who are usually reading them on a phone, in a truck, in bad light, in a hurry. Accessibility is part of building something that actually works. We intend for this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using keyboards, screen readers, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.

2. What this site currently supports

  • A skip-to-content link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
  • Keyboard navigation through links, buttons, menus, and forms.
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Semantic HTML with header, nav, main, section, and footer landmarks.
  • One clear heading structure per page, in logical order.
  • Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
  • Labelled form fields, with errors announced in text rather than by color alone.
  • Descriptive link and button text instead of bare “click here” links.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
  • A responsive layout that works from small phones to large desktops.
  • Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.

3. Standards and honest limits

Workhorse aims to improve alignment with recognized accessibility practices over time. We have not completed a formal third-party accessibility audit, and we do not claim WCAG certification or conformance at a specific level.

We also cannot claim perfect accessibility on every device, browser, or assistive technology, and we do not control the accessibility of third-party content such as embedded platform screenshots, external listings, or sites we link to.

4. Ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed as pages are built and updated rather than treated as a one-time task. When we find an issue, we fix it in the shared components so the fix applies across the site. Reports from real users are the most useful input we get.

5. Reporting an accessibility problem

If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us. Use the Workhorse contact form and include:

  • The page address where you ran into the problem.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • The browser, device, and any assistive technology you were using.

We will look into it and, where we can, give you the information or complete the task with you another way. We do not promise a specific response time, because we have not set a formal response policy yet.
